Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a visitor enters a name, case number, or similar information in a search tool displayed on the site, the request is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. That provider processes the request and returns any result it chooses to provide. Tunica County Court Docket does not maintain a separate log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other direct message may be retained so it can be answered or handled. It is kept within the organization unless disclosure is required by law, needed to protect rights or safety, or necessary to operate the communication service.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most web services, the servers and service providers may receive routine technical details when a page loads:
- The IP address associated with the connection
- Browser type, version, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, visit duration, and timestamps
- The referring page or service, when one is supplied
- Technical logs used to diagnose delivery or security problems
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and analytics tools may be used to understand traffic, page performance, and basic site operation. Cookies are small files placed on a device by a browser. Browser controls can limit or block them, although features that depend on those controls may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Visitor information may be used to operate and secure the service, respond to communications, route a search request to its provider, assess aggregate traffic, improve page performance, and investigate technical faults. Advertising services may use information under their own policies to deliver and measure advertising.
- Maintain and protect site operations
- Process a request sent to an outside service
- Measure general use and performance trends
- Find and correct errors or service interruptions
- Support advertising delivery and measurement
No Court-Record Data on File
Tunica County Court Docket does not host, keep, compile, or sell a database of Tunica County docket entries or personal case records. It provides general routing information for the Tunica County Circuit Clerk, Chancery Clerk, Justice Court, Town of Tunica Municipal Court, and Mississippi Electronic Courts access paths. The official custodian, not this private site, decides what a court record contains, whether access is available, and whether a copy is certified.
Court-record access is subject to court rules and the applicable custodian's procedures. PAMEC provides read-only remote access for registered public users in participating courts, while free clerk-office viewing is the documented alternative when a record is available and not restricted. A sealed document, youth record, restricted filing, or protected identifier may not be available through either remote access or a general request.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search tools displayed here are operated by outside companies. Information submitted to one is handled under that provider's own privacy terms, retention practice, and disclosure rules. Tunica County Court Docket does not control those terms. Review the provider's policy before submitting information to its service.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to official Tunica County offices, Mississippi court portals, PAMEC, municipal or Justice Court vendors, and other outside resources. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy applies. A linked official court resource may have separate account, fee, or access requirements.
Advertising providers may also use their own technology to measure activity across services. That activity is governed by the provider that supplies it, rather than by this policy.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Depending on the service used and the circumstances, limited information may be received by the following categories:
- Outside search providers that process a submitted query
- Analytics providers that measure traffic and performance
- Advertising providers that serve or measure advertisements
- Service providers that support hosting, security, or communications
- Government authorities when a valid legal process requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for the information handled by the service. No online system can guarantee absolute security, however, and transmission or storage over the internet carries risk. Visitors should avoid sending sensitive information through an unverified channel.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If information from a minor is believed to have been submitted directly, contact the site so the report can be reviewed and addressed.
Your Data Rights
Visitors may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or limits on processing of personal information held directly by this private operator, subject to legal and operational limits. The Mississippi Public Records Act, including Miss. Code §§ 25-61-2, 25-61-5, 25-61-7, and 25-61-13, concerns records held by public bodies. It does not make this private operator a court-record custodian or override court rules governing sealed and restricted filings.
- Ask what direct-contact information is held about you
- Request correction of inaccurate direct-contact information
- Request deletion where retention is not required
- Ask about limits on certain direct processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised when operations, applicable law, or service providers change. A revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Review it periodically to understand the current privacy practices.
